In our family, celebrating Easter is very special--because it's celebrating the most important moment in our history--the Resurection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although at this moment all the kiddos are too small to comprehend this great moment, we pray daily that they may come to know the darkness of their sin and separation from God because of it, but also the sweet grace that the death of Jesus Christ covers them with! For now though, this is how they celebrated Easter. Just so every one knows, the kids pictured are Clara Joy, Lila Cadence, Olivia Grace, and Corey Allen.
We went to Aunt Jessica's house on Friday to Dye eggs...dying eggs with 4 children under 3 was a special experience. Thanks to Jessica for taking on this messy task!
On Saturday Noni arrived in town...although I didn't get any pictures of her with our kids!
We went to church early early on Sunday. Uncle Owen got all the kids up & fed at Rachael & Corey's house while the three of us went to church to rehears for worship & special music. We sang a version of "My Jesus I love Thee"
We ALL went home and took long naps and were back at Rachael's house for Easter Dinner--and of course an all out Easter Egg Hunt. Thanks to Rachael for her extra work in preparing 96 stuffed Easter Eggs. Rachael also planned a meal for our whole family--We were especially excited to have Grandma Jo and Papa (Corey's Parents) here to celebrate Easter. We realized that it was the first time we had 3 sets of in-laws together, the Whites, The Robins, and the Maurers!

We had a sweet spring doctors appointment today. Baby Maurer is measuring perfectly! We have been praying this whole pregnancy that this baby wouldn't be exhibiting signs of Intra-uterine Growth Restriction like Clara did. It seems like at this point we'll definitely have a baby over 5 lbs which was what we were hopping for. Praise the Lord.
We did have a little scare last night. I have a little cold and am feeling pretty uncomfortable so Owen agreed to take Clara for the evening. I went to sleep and when they got home for bath time I got up to help...well I started having contractions and they didn't stop and didn't stop. We ended up going to OB Triage and got monitored. I was having contractions every 2-5 minutes and so they checked me, with no "progress" I was given a lovely shot of tributelene, makes you shaky and uncomfortable but definitely stopped the contractions. So we went home. Doctor said that if we can make it through 1 1/2 more weeks, he doesn't mind letting things continue if I have contractions like that again! Woot Woot.

Here are some pictures of THE BOB
Clara and Dash really enjoyed their two walks in THE BOB today. For any of you mommies with two out there, I highly recomend this product. It is worth the price tag for so many reasons.
- It fits through standard doors
- It has a swivel wheel or fixed wheel option
- It's cool lookin
- It's easy to fold
- Steers like a dream
- can hold up to 108 lbs (that's a lot of kiddo!)
So needless to say I love my new stroller. Thanks again, Mom & Mark, Dad & Lynn, and Tom and Joy for giving us this great gift!
